Our company began in 1954 as the house wiring team of Jack McInnis and Glen Jones. In 1972 Jack founded McInnis Electric with the commercial and industrial electrical forces of the original company. In 2000 Jack's son, Glade, purchased the company and is currently its President and CEO. Under his leadership, McInnis Electric's annual revenues have grown up to $25 million with a workforce of 300 employees.
We are experts in all aspects of the electrical construction field including: commercial construction, industrial construction, systems and cabling, service work and outside plant.
Our relationship with the men and women of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers has been long and productive, both in Central Mississippi and in the many other jurisdictions where we have worked, all the way from Sun Valley, California to Plymouth, Massachusetts.
COMMERCIAL:

INDUSTRIAL:
Our skilled team is well versed in the complexities of industrial construction, with its multifaceted installations and its emphasis on safety and tight schedules. We have extensive experience in automotive, power, food processing and various materials processing plants.

SYSTEMS & CABLING:
We install and maintain copper and fiber data systems with the great attention to detail that management of modern and large cabling designs demand. Our technicians have the equipment and training for complete certified solutions and they work under the direction of the Registered Distribution Designer (RCDC).
OUTSIDE PLANT:
Encased ductbanks, directional drilling and aerial cabling and the unexpected obstacles they can present are handled with skill and experience by McInnis Electric's outside plant crew who install and maintain fiber optic and primary power systems for our customers. Complete underground and communications infrastructures - from the pole through the manhole and into the facility - are built with our expensive armory of drill rigs, earth movers, fiber blowers and the line trucks operated by a team of first class installers.
